- SOTA (Summits on the Air) - An award scheme for radio amateurs that encourages portable operation from summits.

- IOTA (Islands on the air) - Like SOTA, only for Islands. Established way back in 1964.
- DX Engineering - A supplier of amateur radio equipment, antennas, and accessories.
- AMSAT (Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation) - An organization dedicated to the advancement of amateur radio satellite communications.
- QRZCQ - A database and social network for amateur radio operators.
- Ham Radio Forums (HamRadioForum.net) - Discussion forums for all aspects of amateur radio.
- SolarHam - Solar data and space weather resources for amateur radio operators.
- PSKReporter - Digimode automatic propagation reporter. Provides a near real-time map view of where your signal has been spotted (received).
